Musings | My Favorite ‘Decoding Desire’ Avatars – Remembering the standalone app

OKKO will pull the plug on Decoding Desire come the 17th, as they steadily roll out the game’s chapters in their library app, Honey Magazine.

Many fans welcomed the chance to find all the OKKO titles in one app (especially since these include previously discontinued ones), but were saddened to say goodbye to their hard-won (and paid) avatars and stories from DD. [OKKO’s new library app is incompatible with pre-integration games made with Arithmetic‘s platform.]

First Impressions | ‘Sengoku Darling’ (NTT Solmare)

The paid app boasts of tons of new features (tap-to-move characters, movies for all endings, and read-per-chapter, among others) to rival those already offered by Voltage. And while the latter has offered these for a while now, SD does include some of the more popular characters in Voltage’s Sengoku titles (Sakura Amidst Chaos and its so-called free version, Samurai Love Ballad: PARTY) AND some of the non-playable ones, too! This would be welcome news for Voltage players who have been pining for these characters (especially since Voltage’s SLBP ‘Moon Chapter’ isn’t expected to be released in English till next year).

First Impressions | ‘Bad Boys Do It Better’ (Voltage)

The MC is thrown into the midst of a pack of wolves (or, in this case, high school boys — which is practically the same thing) when her parents enroll her in Shinran High — an all-boys school that has recently opened its doors to girls. Unfortunately (or, fortunately — depending on whom you ask — especially if it’s the MC’s mom), she happens to be the ONLY girl to take the offer!
